Werner was a great friend. We shared the same birthday, though I'm a little younger. We always had time to laugh, and both enjoyed working on Neumann disc cutting lathes., Werner mending them, and me using them. You'll be missed my friend. Here are a couple of photos I took of Werner and colleagues at Neumann, Berlin early 1980. We were there to test a new VMS 80 Lathe and Cutting Amplifiers for Tape One Studios. This was a wonderful cutting system that I enjoyed working with for many, many years.
